I am Ute, the owner and maker behind White Wolf Leather Studio.
I started the brand out of a desire to create ethical leather goods that combine sustainability and fashion. Looking good and feeling good should go hand in hand.
It is my focus to create products that are so flawless in their design and make that they outlive fast fashion and can be used for decades. 
Resourcefulness is sustainability. 

I have been a leather artisan for almost twenty years, both as a side hustle and as a main occupation. 
I grew up in Germany, lived in Greece and am now based in Missouri, where I am married and have my family. As an immigrant I bring some European influence and style to my American made leather goods. Living my life, and running my business in a way that will make the world just a little bit better for my children and their generation, even if it is just a drop in the ocean, is a big motivation in my business.
Sustainability means future. 

The leather I use comes exclusively from a small, Swiss-based company that sells leather made from hides sourced from organic, biodynamic or regenerative farms in their region. Their focus is to minimize environmental impact and to offer full transparency across the entire supply chain.
